COVID-19 Policy

COVID-19 Protocol

Port Angeles Marathon Association is committed to keeping our runners, staff, volunteers, and community safe. Below are our current COVID policies and protocols. As we learn more information we will be sure to share it with all of our participants.

  • All participants have been offered a virtual option for the event, for participants who would like to participate on their own and not share a common course with other participants and would prefer a virtual course of their own choosing. Participants have been emailed several times to switch to virtual event at no additional cost.

Events

The North Olympic Discovery Marathon is a entire weekend of events on the Olympic Discovery Trail from Sequim to Port Angeles.

Virtual Series

Run with us on race day, or run VIRTUALLY. You have until December 31 of the same year to complete the races virtually.
Run the Peninsula is very excited to be partnering with Rain Bear Running to provide a training program that will get you ready for any or all of our races on the Olympic Peninsula or Virtually – wherever you choose to run the event.

Giving Back

The Port Angeles Marathon Association (PAMA) is a non-profit 501c4. PAMA puts on 5 events per year and gives back to local communities in many ways, including offering the Kids Marathon program to all Clallam County elementary schools and working with civic groups, service clubs, school teams and programs by offering cash donations in return for volunteer time. Over the past 5 years, PAMA donated more than $80,000 to local organizations.
