About

Elwha River Bridge 5K /10K is the 1st of 5 races in the Run the Peninsula Race Series.

For this year’s race, the 5K and 10K will be an out and back on the Olympic Discovery Trail, and will start at 9:30 am Saturday, February 6th at Lower Elwha Bridge, Port Angeles, WA.

 

Walkers are welcome!

  • Bib Pickup: Saturday, February 5th- 7:30 am – Elwha Bridge – Pedestrian Bridge

Parking & Shuttles

NO PARKING AT THE START / FINISH AREA!

  • Participants can be dropped off on the west side of Elwha Bridge
  • Shuttles will be running continuously 
  • 2022 Shuttle Information will be updated towards the end of 2021.

About Port Angeles Marathon Association

The Port Angeles Marathon Association (PAMA) is located on the beautiful Olympic Peninsula in Washington State. PAMA hosts 5 different races annually. All races also have a virtual race option for all of the events if you are not able to make it out to the Olympic Peninsula for one or all of the races.

The North Olympic Discovery Marathon is a entire weekend of events on the Olympic Discovery Trail from Sequim to Port Angeles.

Run with us on race day, or run VIRTUALLY. You have until December 31 of the same year to complete the races virtually.
Run the Peninsula is very excited to be partnering with Rain Bear Running to provide a training program that will get you ready for any or all of our races on the Olympic Peninsula or Virtually – wherever you choose to run the event.

Volunteer With Us

This event could not happen without the support of the community, our volunteers and the Peninsula Trails Coalition (Build and maintain the Olympic Discovery Trail). Run the Peninsula series takes place on the Olympic Discovery Trail, which is run by the Peninsula Trails Coalition. The Peninsula Trails Coalition is an amazing all volunteer group that helps to build, protect, grow and maintain the trail. The Peninsula Trails Coalition is a 501(c)3 Corporation registered in the State of Washington Tax ID 91-1416511.

All of the Run the Peninsula events will give back to various groups in the community. Proceeds from all of the Run the Peninsula races will go towards the Olympic Discovery Trail and other groups in the community.
